This group has both similarities with and differences from the late 19ih- and early 20k-century Sunik-Artsakh silver belts. This research complements the one the author published in the Haigazian Armenological Review, volume 39, pp. 225, entitled "A General Overview of the Silver Belts of Sunik-Artsakh (style, symbols, variations, parallels, stamps)." The paper assesses these belts from both the artistic and ethnographic perspectives and compares them with the Sunik-Artsakh group. He concludes that the male northern Caucasian silver belts have more similarities with the Sunik-Artsakh male silver belts than the female silver belts. Besides, he notes that there are interesting similarities in the composition of the belts, technology used, style, artisans and craftsmanship.
