Agheksantrian's unpublished book on Aleppo, called "History of the Capital City Aleppo", which was written in 1861. The only copy of the script we are aware of is preserved in the Zemmar Monastery Collection of Armenian New Manuscripts, # 398 (old list # 663), It is considered to be the first Armenian book written about Aleppo. In his article Minassian narrates the biography of the author and gives the list of his published and unpublished books. Minassian assesses the book, gives the list of the author's sources and describes the book in detail. Furthermore, the article includes large parts of the script, particularly sections that have to do with the Armenians. The script is of 151 pages and is divided into several chapters pertaining to the founding, geography and trade of Aleppo and its history from pre-Christian times up to the author's time. A separate chapter is dedicated to the history of the entry of Christianity into Aleppo, its Dioceses, the lists of the Prelates of the Assyrians, the Greeks and the Maronites, as well as those of the Armenians and the Catholic Armenians. The script includes brief chronologies of the history of Aleppo and lists of those who ruled the city, several censuses conducted during the Ottoman period, a map, etc.Գերապայծառ Անդրէաս Աղեքսանդրեանի «Պատմութիւն մայրաքաղաքին Բերիոյ» անտիպ աշխատութիւնը (1861)
