Giving a written form to and thus preserving the tales and legends of "The Eastern World", he faithfully followed the literary tradition of Moses of Khoren. In his writings one can find a good number of speeches and eulogies, in which the following are of special significance: " A Praise of the Blessed Virgin Mary" and "The Story of Andok and Babik, Princes of Suaik" The "Praise" has brought fame to the author because it has been one of the early poetic creations in the development of Armenian religious songs and poetry. Petros, the Bishop, has made an equally important contribution to Armenian Literature by giving a written form to the legend of Andok and Babik, Princes of Sunik. This tale is a part of the popular epic, "The Persian Wars". But the tale is significant for two reasons: first, for its historical content and second, for its Armenian, ethnic and patriotic ideology.Պետրոս Սիւնեաց Եպիսկոպոս
