The article compares and contrasts the diverse mindsets and, accordingly, approaches of the Armenian and the Turk regarding homeland and statehood. The author argues that Armenian identity is driven by an idealistic model based on vision and perception, music and poetry, while, on the contrary, a Turk's model of world recognition and adaptation is materialistic.
