    The Impact of Servant Leadership on Employees' Satisfaction, Motivation and Performance in for-profit and not-for-profit Organizations in Lebanon

    The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the servant leader’s characteristics on employees’ performance, satisfaction and motivation in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. An empirical study was performed, using survey research. The data was collected through a questionnaire conducted on more than 200 employees in Lebanon, and the questionnaire was developed based on extensive literature review. The results of the study indicated that applying servant leadership Characteristics which are servant factors, leader factors and other factors are positively related to employees’ satisfaction, performance and motivation. It also indicated that these practices differ between for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, but do not differ across the levels of the organization and regardless of the gender of the supervisor.
