Abstract
The chapters in this volume analyze religion, education and peace in various parts of the world in a variety of specific settings including secondary schools, colleges, universities, governmental agencies, and nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations. While the chapters examine policies and actions related to religion, education, and peace in contemporary times, an awareness of the historical roots of various conflicts, and possible solutions to them, are implicit or explicit in the chapters.
