dc.description.abstractOn the basis of system analysis of creeds and belief collections and other primary sources of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC), modem religious studies reveal and comprehensively assess Trinitarian studies of Armenian theologians of the 5th -6th centuries. The paper studies and analyzes the essence of the fundamental elements of the Divine Trinity, the relationship between the divine ipostasis, the incarnation and the atonement of Christ, the life-giving and handing out of gifts of the Holy Spirit . The author notes that the Orthodox approach to the dogmatic Trinitarian views of the AAC were opposed to antichurch doctrines, in particular: the Jewish-Christian interpretation of Monotheism, the docetic doctrine of the incarnation of Christ or His principled difference with the divine Logos, the "human Christ," who had heavenly piety, the non-essential Holy Spirit, etc. the analysis also revealed a link between Armenian and ecumenical theological thoughts on Trinitarian issues.
