Abstract
Making use of Arab, Armenian and foreign diplomatic documents the author of the article examines the roots of the Arab-Armenian political relations in the early twentieth century, though, as a background, Dr. Topalian sheds some light on these relations both in the antiquity and in the early Middle Ages. The author asserts that the main concern of these relations was but the liberation of the two peoples’ respective homelands from the Ottoman domination and yoke, a purpose towards the fulfillment of which the Arabs and the Armenians did not decline of shedding blood and sacrificing their lives for each others’ political aspirations.
