Վիճակագրական անտիպ տեղեկագիր Ատափազարի եւ մօտակայ հայաբնակ երեք գիւղերու մասին (1871)

Abstract
The first part of this unpublished statistical report of 1871 on the Armenian-populated town of Adapazar and its three adjacent Armenian populated villages focuses on the Armenian-populated four quarters of Adapazar and provides details about their churches, their priests, their male and female schools and teachers, the number of Armenians according to their denominations, and the financial conditions of the churches and schools. In its second part the report provides similar details about the three Armenian-populated villages, namely Tamlekh, Nor Kugh and Ferizli, which were adjacent to Adapazar. Furthermore, the second part of the report highlights the difficulties of the Armenian villagers, the dire economic situation they were living in, the usurpation by the state of land owned by the villagers without any compensation for the benefit of the incoming Cherkez refugees and neighboring Turks. The report bears further importance due to the fact that the book, which is dedicated to Adapazar, barely includes any information on the said areas during the 1870s.
