| dc.description.abstract | By studying the development track of the Yerevan-published "Bnagir"-"Inknagir" magazine and the elements which characterize it, the author tries to mark the place of the magazine in the contemporary Armenian literary context. Concurrently she contemplates the developmental trends of contemporary Armenian literature and of art in general. Seyranian considers the birth of "Bnagir" natural and relates it to the socio-psychological and ideological breakdowns, the inner-world blasts and implosions of post-Soviet tinies. In her view, Armenian culture is in a serious ongoing process, which is expressed not only in the realm of literature, but in the realm of the written Armenian language too. The author sees "Bnagir"-"Inknagir" as the venue where literature and life meet, where the letter - filled with the ingredients of life - is pushed towards literature. Seyranian, however, observes certain signs of stalemate in the road of the magazine's theoretic evolution. | |
