dc.description.abstract | Research on teacher motivation has tried to understand what sustains teachers in their profession and motivates them to keep teaching. The current study examines what motivates an Arab teacher in two Arab Countries; Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. The two main variables studied were intrinsic and the extrinsic motivators. The target sample was Arab teachers teaching upper and lower schools in Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. A 27 item questionnaire was answered by 204 Arab teachers. Results showed that there was no significant difference between the two variables. | |
