| dc.description.abstract | The article discusses the symbol of the carpet by observation of Armenian and world literary samples in the sphere of interdisciplinary connections. The issue is illustrated by the juxtaposition of parallels of carpet-text, world-text, carpet-space, life-pattern, pattern-code, text-history-story, carpet-biography-family biography, carpet-identity, carpet-reminiscence, language-writing-word weaving-flow of thought, and weaving-composition - with the focus on the largest measure world-carpet. By examination of both semiotic and unique color and pictorial solutions, certain remarkable truths about human life perception, worldview, age psychology, and inter-generation communication are being revealed. | |
