| dc.description.abstract | In the context of Armenian reality, the origin and manifestations of rock music have not been studied at all in the academic field, while the presence of Armenians in world rock culture and the localization of rock in Armenia are very interesting and significant and are worth studying. This series of articles consists of three separate papers, the first of which is devoted to the Armenian presence in the rock music of different countries. Diaspora Armenians, using the mass nature of music, highlight issues like historical justice, freedom and other concepts in their lyrics. This gives them the opportunity to raise issues which seem intractable in the political sphere. Alongside the abovementioned historical and noble ideological issues they touch upon topics of human loneliness, love and brotherhood, etc. | |
