Abstract
The human figurative designs, found on the Armenian plain-tombstones may open a new page in the history of Armenian art. These belong to the 13-17th centuries and are found in the medieval graveyards, in the courtyards of ancient churches, in the charnel-houses of medieval feudal princes, located in Soviet Armenia.
The pictures of the tombstones in the article are photographed by the author, and are published for the first time.
