The article is about the current Armenian cultural revival in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi. It highlights the leading role the Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia plays in promoting Armenian culture, through establishing cultural centers in community centers next to churches. The author reports that the effort to bond new Georgian-Armenian generations to the Armenian church has been at least partly successful as cultural activities pertaining to Armenian music, dance, painting arts and the Armenian language have attracted the young generations. The success the Tbilisi center has achieved has encouraged the cultural and religious authorities of the Armenian community in Georgia to launch such Armenian arts and cultural centers in several other regions of Georgia where Armenians constitute the majority or in areas which have a large Armenian population.
